The 2024 Honda Civic Sport is a modern compact sedan that blends sporty styling with everyday practicality and strong efficiency. It builds on the Civics long-standing reputation for reliability while adding a more aggressive exterior design, upgraded wheels, and a slightly more engaging road feel compared to base trims.
With 47,589 miles, this Civic is still in a very healthy and desirable range, offering a modern driving experience, updated technology, and strong long-term value without feeling outdated or worn.
Its designed for drivers who want a car that is easy to live with, efficient on fuel, stylish on the road, and dependable for daily use.
Engine, Performance & Driving Feel
Power comes from a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
This setup focuses on smoothness and efficiency rather than performance:
Smooth, linear acceleration in all driving conditions
Quiet and controlled engine operation
Easy responsiveness for city and highway driving
On the road, the Civic Sport feels:
Light and agile in urban traffic
Stable and composed at highway speeds
Comfortable over bumps thanks to well-tuned suspension
The steering is precise and slightly weighted for a compact car, giving it a subtle sporty edge while still being easy to drive every day.
Fuel Efficiency & Daily Use
The Civic Sport continues to stand out for its fuel economy:
Around 26 MPG city and 36 MPG highway
Roughly 30 MPG combined in real-world driving
This makes it especially appealing for:
Daily commuting
Highway travel
Drivers wanting to reduce fuel costs long-term
The balance between efficiency and drivability is one of the Civics strongest traits, making it a dependable everyday vehicle.
Exterior Styling & Sport Design
The Civic Sport trim adds noticeable visual upgrades over base models:
Gloss black exterior trim accents
Larger sport-styled alloy wheels
Lower, wider stance for a more athletic appearance
Sharp LED lighting and modern front-end design
Overall, it has a clean but aggressive look, giving it a more premium and youthful feel without being overly flashy.
Interior Design & Comfort
Inside, the Civic Sport features a modern, driver-focused cabin:
Horizontal dashboard layout for a clean, open feel
Soft-touch materials in key contact areas
Sport cloth seating with good support
Simple and uncluttered center console design
The seating position is comfortable and slightly low, giving a more connected driving feel, similar to sportier sedans.
Space & Practicality
Despite being a compact sedan, the Civic offers solid everyday usability:
Seating for 5 passengers
Comfortable front seats with strong visibility
Rear seating suitable for adults on short and medium trips
Cargo space is about 24.5 cubic feet, which is strong for the segment and useful for:
Grocery runs
Luggage for travel
Daily commuting items
The wide trunk opening also makes loading easier than expected for its size.
Technology & Features (Sport Trim)
The Sport trim includes a well-rounded set of modern tech features:
Touchscreen infotainment system with responsive interface
Apple CarPlay & Android Auto integration
Bluetooth audio and hands-free calling
USB connectivity for charging and media
Steering wheel audio and phone controls
Convenience features often include:

Love it
By Alan | on 4/14/2026 4:03:54 AM
It’s peppy, comfortable, and gets 50 mpgs. What’s not to like? I wish it had fog lights and I wish the Bose sound system had a little more base but overall it’s a great car.… - 5.0
Excellent Car!
By MillerTime | on 2/19/2026 9:25:33 PM
This car is fantastic! The interior is absolutely bullet proof! What I mean by saying that is, 10 years down the road, it’s still gonna look great. Honda did a great job on this car in and out! I was able to get 53 MPG driving in the city. It’s very comfortable just wish it had lumbar adjustment and a spare tire I read of the “fix a flat kit”, but overall the looks, the gas mileage, and the smoothness and the excellent build quality, it just an absolute gem. Loving my new 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Sport Touring Hatchback.… - 5.0
People on here love to complain
By Justin | on 2/1/2026 8:26:01 PM
I hear people complaining about back pain on these reviews? Maybe you should start being active instead of blaming a car? This car is perfect and I'm glad I have the 2.0L engine as the 1.5L turbo will have issues with the head gasket. 50k miles on my 2023 civic and I've had zero issues. It's quick and good on gas. Very sharp exterior.…
